Michael: In our writing “Relationships and The World Cup” , we mentioned about how the malls set up TVs for people (mostly men) to watch the World Cup, while their wives shop.
Graciela: The writing is also available in Spanish. “Relaciones de Pareja y el Mundial de Futbol”
Michael: This photo was taken at the Centro Comercial (mall) Bulevar located at the corner of Calle 127 and Avenida Suba.
Graciela: Probably the most interesting thing about this particular picture is that Colombia was not even playing, otherwise there would have been many more people watching.
Michael: I like the way the mall put the chairs in the colors of the Colombian flag of yellow, blue and red.
Graciela: On Thursday June 19, 2014 Colombia faces off against the Ivory Coast. It should be a good match as the African team earlier beat Japan 2-1. At the time of that game not just the malls but all the bars, coffee shops and any place with a TV for customers to watch will be full.
